The meal is served at 7 p.m.Ideally, you should arrive around 6 p.m. to settle in and have an aperitif.If you have not booked dinner, please arrive before 9 p.m. in any case.In case of late arrival, please inform the guard so that he does not worry.

What do I need to sleep up there?

To ensure a pleasant night's sleep up there, bring a sleeping bag liner and a pillowcase.No need to bring a sleeping bag: duvets are provided, but a sleeping bag sheet and pillowcase are mandatory.Also bring a light fleece, as it can get chilly even in summer.Don't forget your toiletries... and your good humor!Plastic clogs are available for you to move around in the dormitories and the dining room.

What happens if I have to cancel my reservation?

If, for any reason, you need to cancel your reservation, please let us know immediately so that we don't have to search for you in the mountains.You will have the option to postpone your visit to a later date, free of charge, during the current season. As our communication network is very unreliable, we recommend that you pay by check or cash for your stay with us.We do not accept holiday vouchers or restaurant vouchers.

Yes, hot showers are available on site. They are chargeable and their duration is limited.In a mountain refuge, water resources are limited: we must all be careful not to waste it.

Can I have a cold meal for the morning of my departure?

Yes, we offer cold meals upon reservation.You can book them directly online when you book your overnight stay.We offer a discount on the price if you bring your own box and reusable cutlery before 5pm.

What do I pay when I make my reservation?

You only pay a €10 deposit per person to reserve your places, directly online on the refuge's website.The balance will be payable on site, by check or cash.

Can I bring my dog?

Unfortunately, no.The regulations of the Vanoise National Park prohibit the presence of dogs in the heart of the park, even on a leash.This measure aims to protect the environment and avoid any disturbance to wildlife.

Can you drive up to the refuge?

No, not at all. Here again, this is a measure aimed at protecting the environment and preserving a shared natural world.The regulations of the Vanoise National Park prohibit the circulation of motorized vehicles on the track leading to the refuge. You will therefore have to reach us on foot, by mountain bike (electric bikes allowed) or on horseback.
